This is how far along I am in writing the trilogy.
THE BLUE GOLEM
In which our hero awakens in the body of an 7′ monster without any idea how he got there or who he used to be. Clay Golem becomes a P.I. and fights the evil Archmage Melchior for the soul of a fantasy world where magic is real and evil is on the prowl. Think THE MALTESE FLACON where Humphrey Bogart is an 7′ golem and you’re on the right track.
THE BLACK SERPENT
When Van Baker is away for a year building a dam for the Corps of Engineers his wife receives a fraudulent bill and is informed that if she doesn’t pay, her home will be taken and she will be cast out. Clay takes the case and while investigating this phantom debt ring, uncovers corruption which extends the length and breadth of the kingdom. Only a daring gambit stands a chance to unravel the identity of the shadowy figure controlling the thirteen crime families who run the country from the shadows and save the innocent from destruction.
THE RED SWORD
The people of Alysia have a long history with golems run amok but Clay has proven himself as a protector to the city and its citizens. Until it appears that Clay himself has run amok and the people recoil in horror as their worst fears appear to be coming true right in front of their eyes…
Writing About Writing (so Meta)
I didn’t think I’d have anything to say about writing. I was wrong. Here’s the latest from the blog.
Kind People Say Nice Things!
The review has rolled in!
“I really enjoyed this. More noire than Pratchett, as well as a solid story.”
“I heard Johne wrote a thing. Here’s me grinning for no good reason!”
”You again? Why are you still reading these invented testimonials?”
